JUST ANNOUNCED: NYTVF LONDON 2013

Panel series slated for June 14 at BAFTA Headquarters

NYTVF London

The NYTVF today announced continued international expansion efforts with a scheduled return to the U.K. for the second iteration of NYTVF London. The free event will take place on June 14 and will feature a panel series outlining emerging opportunities for independent producers and production companies across the digital landscape in the U.S. and U.K. The event will also feature a cocktail party hosted by Microsoft’s digital platform MSN, the event's signature sponsor. The festivities will conclude with a screening and artist roundtable with award-winning festival alumni and network sponsors including one of the organization's Development Partners, Channel 4. In addition to MSN and Channel 4, the day is supported by C21, WME, and BAFTA.

The announcement of the event comes on the heels of the NYTVF's launch of an MSN-sponsored, stand-alone development initiative offering a guaranteed $75,000 production budget for a micro-episodic series to be distributed across Microsoft’s digital platform. The Short-Form Storytellers Challenge is open to international submitters, and MSN commissioners will be on-hand for the London event to discuss their programming goals with U.K. creators.

The line-up for the event will also feature speakers from C21, FutureMedia, Blinkbox, ChannelFlip, Microsoft, Nesta, We R Interactive, and more.
