In 2009, the NYTVF has partnered with online music catalogue Audio Network US Inc. As part of the relationship, artists creating pilots for the NYTVF’s annual Independent Pilot Competition will have unlimited access to Audio Network’s intuitive database completely free of charge for their projects. Audio Network is providing NYTVF with the opportunity for its pilot-maker community to use tracks from its catalog in projects at no initial cost to the artist, enabling them to present pilots at the New York Television Festival and its official online distribution channels free of charge. If an artist wishes to use a project featuring Audio Network music for a purpose outside of the NYTVF, he or she will have the ability to obtain the necessary license from Audio Network at the standard rate of $395 per track, which clears the music for all platforms and in all territories, in perpetuity. To utilize this service, producers simply email Audio Network directly at nytvf@audionetwork.us Producers must include their name, address, email address, telephone number and the name of their production to register. Audio Network will then provide them with online access information, offering unlimited access to the Audio Network library for their pilot production.
